Kayla Shively is a proud native of Pinellas County. She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from St. Petersburg College, but before beginning her teaching career, she chose to focus on growing her family. After spending two wonderful years at home raising her three children, Kayla decided it was time to reenter the workforce. She joined her father-in-law and mother-in-law in the family real estate business, stepping into the role of Transaction Coordinator.
Through that experience, Kayla discovered a genuine passion for the home buying and selling journey. Wanting to play a more active role in serving families during such an important chapter of their lives, she obtained her real estate license and never looked back.
When she’s not working, Kayla continues to raise and homeschool her three children alongside her supportive husband. She enjoys attending workout classes throughout Hillsborough County and actively serves at her local church. Her background in education has equipped her with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills—qualities that now serve her clients well in real estate.
Kayla is known for her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and positive attitude. She believes that “home” looks different for everyone, and she’s committed to helping each client find a place they can truly call their own.
